We as human beings are immersed in sonic environments from the moment we enter this world. Musicians themselves have the power and responsibility to manipulate the sonic space around their listeners in a live environment. The music created in “Sonic Reflections” creates a special kind of sonic space in a live environment offered by Tantra Studios.
Tita Espindola has teamed up with Jeffrey Thiele in curating a deep and inspiring concert experience that is open to anyone from avid listeners of music to seasoned meditators. Attendees will be guided through a series of sonic and musical textures, all while being immersed in a soft yet dynamic web of meditative sounds.
As John Stuard Reid once said, “It’s not the music that does the healing, but the music that creates the space for the body to heal itself.” Tita and Jeffrey are here to create just that space, with the intention for the attendees to find mindful peace and stillness in their hearts.
Bios:
Jeffrey Thiele
A recent transplant to Miami, Jeffrey is a saxophonist and synthesist working to cultivate sonic spaces for meditation. His work stems from the tradition of various strains of jazz and electronic music, ranging from experimental ambient to downtempo beats.
TiTa Espindola
A Brazilian 3rd generation singer, certified sound healer and soon to be a modern meditation teacher, TiTa has been dedicated now to creating healing journeys with music, using the power of the voice, guitar, drums, bowls and other sacred instruments. In her performances she seeks to bring mindful, experiences combined with music and sounds, that speak directly to the heart with intention, awareness, and transformation.
