Unit J – Brooklyn’s Beloved DIY Venue

For the past decade, Unit J has been a home for independent music in Bushwick. This intimate DIY venue—literally someone’s living room—offers a cozy atmosphere, a full stage, and a bar. It was even nominated for "Best Live Music Venue in Brooklyn" by Brokelyn.com!

This special night will feature three of NYC’s finest songwriters, each sharing the stories behind their songs. We will be joined by featuring Eliza Spear, Matt Kelley, and Emily Sara.

Then to close the evening, Dru Cutler—cofounder of Unit J—will take the stage for an intimate set, joined by the incredible Dave Mainella on piano, plus a few surprise-and-delight moments of audience participation.
