Songs of the Chornobyl zone / Пісні з Чорнобильської зони

Nadia Tarnawsky (Fulbright researcher of Ukrainian folk songs) will lead a workshop focusing on songs of the Chornobyl zone of Ukraine in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the Chornobyl disaster.

The workshop is open to singers of all ages, genders, backgrounds and experience levels. All songs will be taught in the oral tradition. The ability to read Ukrainian or musical notation is not required.

Надя Тарнавська (дослідниця української народної пісні за програмою Фулбрайта) проведе майстер клас присвячений пісням Чорнобильської зони України до 40-річчя Чорнобильської катастрофи.

Майстер клас відкритий для співаків будь-якого віку, статі, походження та рівня досвіду. Всі пісні будуть викладатися в усні формі. Вміння читати українською чи знання нотної грамоти не вимагаються.

Cost: $65 ($5 donation to the UMA)
