Sponsored by Dan and Monica Slivka of @properties, this music class is designed to engage and bring families together! This will be a 40 minute interactive music class of singing and dancing held at The Sandbox Baby Boutique in Andersonville.

Songs ‘n Swings was formed in the summer of 2020 when all children classes were shut down with the intention of allowing families to engage outdoors at parks. About Sandbox Baby Boutique

In 2018, Stephanie gave birth to a little monster (aka her son) and realized there was nowhere in Andersonville to shop for him. Cut to two years (and one pandemic) later, Sandbox Baby Boutique opened in March 2021 in the heart of the Clark Street shopping district. Sourcing largely from women-founded lines with an emphasis on sustainable and ethical standards and manufacturing, Sandbox offers fun and beautiful clothing, accessories and gifts for babies and children. Sandbox also hosts community events for local parents, kids, babies and the people who love them!

About Mr. Patrick:

Mr. Patrick is a Chicago based teaching artist and musician with a decade of experience sharing music and theatre with children and their families. Having spent years performing in musicals around Chicago as well as playing professionally in dozens of bands, Mr. Patrick brings both of his creative worlds together in music class to create an experience that parents and caretakers will enjoy just as much as their children! Patrick is proud to have collaborated as a teaching artist with Wiggleworms at the Old Town School, NYC's Jam with Jamie, Chicago Children's Theatre, as well as their Red Kite Program for children with autism, and Stomp and Shout Chicago, to name just a few. When he isn't teaching, he can be found bringing the boogie to local dance floors with The Bluewater Kings Band.
