Songs and Stories is a live music and storytelling event curated by Sidney Busby, created by independent artists, for independent artists.

Each event brings together a hand picked group of musicians who share a common style or theme, creating an intimate space for honest songs and real stories. This month’s edition shines a light on female singers with something to say, celebrating voices, experiences and songwriting that deserve to be heard.

Hosted at MAP Studio Café, Songs and Stories is built on fairness and community. All money made on the night is split between the artists, pushing back against the culture of musicians being overlooked or expected to play for free, a reality many artists face in London.

Come for the music, stay for the stories, and support artists doing it properly.

Info: This is an open invitation to create in real time. We’re opening the stage to singers, guitarists, drummers, pianists, and anyone who feels the pull to jam. Expect genre-blending grooves, raw energy, and space to experiment, improvise, and connect. No pressure, no perfection—just musicians meeting in the moment and building something honest together.
