About this Event
The Journey Musical told the remarkable Regent Park transformation story through the eyes of young people growing up in a neighbourhood notorious for guns, gangs and violence.
Songs From The Journey, a ‘greatest hits’ version of the musical, brought the Regent Park story from the community to the spectacular Koerner Hall.
Building on that momentum, Mitchell Cohen stepped into the spotlight with a new show – Songs and Stories from The Journey –sharing stories and never-heard-before songs about the journey of the revitalization and his own life.
Now, Mitchell invites you to join him, along with Colleen Allen on reeds, Eric St-Laurent on guitar, and Henry Heillig on bass for: Songs and Stories of Hope.
This performance is supported by the School of Cities at the University of Toronto.
