Join us as we raise funds to send to South Africa! SongRoots Founder Karla Mundy hosted a group of City Soul Choir members on a musical and cultural exchange trip to South Africa this year in March 2026 and it was a truly incredible experience for all involved! We are bringing back the music we learned from South African musician, teacher and composer Bongani Magatyana and keeping it alive here in Canada. We've invited other singers from City Soul Choir and Rhythm and Roots Choir to learn the music and we'll be performing a selection of these songs as a fundraiser concert benefiting the Khayelitsha Children’s Choir & the Iminqweno Yethu Choir from Cape Town.Sunday June 7, 2026 at 4pm (doors 3:30pm)
