Something Fest 2026 | Community Catch-up No. 1

We’re kicking off the Something Fest season with a community catch-up event designed to bring the whole ecosystem into the same room.

And we don’t think that should only happen once a year.

So in the lead up to August, we’re hosting a couple of Something Fest Community Catch-ups. No speakers. No structure. No fanfare. Just 150 of Brisbane’s finest in a room, doing what they do best.

What to expect
✨ Doors open from 5:30pm. We’ll kick things off with a starter tab, then roll into a cash bar for the rest of the night.
🔥 A mix of people from startups, enterprise, government, academia and everything in between. No agenda – just quality conversation that only comes from uniting all the parts of the ecosystem.

Spaces are limited, so it’s very much first in, best dressed.
