Somatic Sound Bath: Anchoring Your 2026 Intentions

By the end of January, many New Year’s intentions begin to lose their spark. The LA Curiosity Collective invites you to a specialized somatic experience at WeVibe Studios designed to move your intentions out of your "to-do list" and into your nervous system.

Using the science of sound and the power of somatic embodiment, we will spend 90 minutes grounding your 2026 vision so it stays with you for the long haul.

• The River Stone Ritual: Upon arrival, you will select a smooth river stone. This is your "tactile anchor." You’ll scribe the core feeling you want to embody this year—be it Focus, Resilience, Flow, or Vitality.
• Somatic Connection: We will lead you through brief micro-journaling and a body-scan to help you identify exactly where that intention needs to "live" in your body.
• The Gong Immersion: You’ll settle into a 60-minute deep-frequency gong bath. As the vibrations wash over you, you’ll hold your stone, using the sound waves to "charge" the physical object and your body with your chosen intention.

An intention is just a thought until it is felt. By pairing a physical object (the stone) with the meditative "Theta" brainwave state induced by the gongs, we create a powerful neurological anchor. You will leave WeVibe with a clear mind, a regulated nervous system, and a physical stone to keep as a reminder of your commitment to yourself.

• Provided: Yoga mats and bolsters are available at the studio.
• Please Bring: A blanket (your body temperature will drop during the sound bath), a journal/pen, and any additional pillows for your comfort.
• Arrival: Doors open at 10:45 AM. Please arrive early to enjoy a cup of tea from the studio's tea bar and select your stone.
• Parking: Free on-site parking (limited) and free street parking are available around the studio.
