A space for helping professionals to unwind and restore through gentle body movement, Mindfulness and Self-compassion.
About this Event

For us helping professionals working in Healthcare, Social care, wellbeing, Education, or Charities, it is common to be caring and compassionate toward others. Yet, offering that same nurturing space to ourselves often feels more difficult.

In these challenging times, as services face increasing pressure, staff wellbeing has become a critical issue. More than ever, it’s clear that we need safe spaces to connect, to restore our emotional energy and to prevent burnout.

If this resonates, I invite you to join a gentle and nurturing session for helping professionals. A space where you can rest and leave work and other worries aside, where you can give yourself permission to just be, to restore your energy and to be held in a nurturing space.

❤️ This session will offer an intimate and supportive environment where you can connect and unwind. It will include:

Gentle guided body movement & Somatic practices.
Mindfulness & Self-Compassion meditation.
Guided relaxation.
Optional Social time after 7pm.

Comfortable clothes to move easily
Your bottle of water

(yoga mats and blankets are provided)

For over 10 years, self-compassion, somatic healing, and body movement have been central to my personal journey. I’m passionate about bringing people together and holding a restorative space for others who walk a similar path as a helper.

Research shows that Mindful Self-Compassion (Neff & Germer, 2013) can help caregivers reduce stress, anxiety, and depression while increasing life satisfaction. Similarly, Van der Kolk (2014) highlights the power of Embodied practices—such as yoga, dance, and somatic experiencing—in helping individuals reconnect with their bodies and heal trauma.
