Experience movement as medicine this summer with an evening of healing hosted by a local dance collective focused on uplifting BIPOC men. Visitors are encouraged to participate in a meditative movement workshop designed to reset your nervous system, witness a new performance work by company dancers, and engage in a community dialogue on redefining masculinity. Meridian Movement Co. is dedicated to exploring intersections of street and concert dance through performance, education, redefinition of masculinity, and cultural exchange.
A cash bar will be available, featuring a selection of drinks and cocktails.
Galleries are open late and free on Thursday nights from 5 to 9 pm.
Free Thursday Nights are sponsored by Principal Foundation.
Lead support for the Walker’s Learning and Public Programs is provided by the Pohlad Family Community Engagement Fund. Additional support is provided by the Patrick and Aimee Butler Family Foundation and Susan and Rob White.
