We will explore a body of material that moves from Contact Improvisation into Ensemble Practices, creating dances that go beyond CI or traditional ensemble improvisation. The work brings together the safety, attentional skill, and physical play of CI with the range and intricacy of dance improvisation.

ABOUT NITA
Nita Little is a founding developer of Contact Improvisation and has been teaching and researching for over 50 years.
Her work focuses on embodied attention, relational intelligence, and ensemble practices.
She holds a PhD in Performance Studies and is the director of the Institute for the Study of Somatic Communication (ISSC).
She teaches and works internationally.
