ვი სი აითემი წარმოგიგდენთ ავთანდილ მოდებაძის სოლო გამოფენას სახელწოდებით “Clover”.

ავთანდილ მოდებაძე, სცენის და კოსტიუმის დიზაინერი დაიბადა 1991 წელს. ის მუშაობს სხვადასხვა მედიუმში ფერწერა, კოსტიუმი და სცენოგრაფია.
ჩვენი პირველი თანამშრომლობა თბილისის ხელოვნების ბაზრობაზე შედგა, იქ მისმა აღმოჩენამ ფართო საზოგადოებას გაუჩინა ინტერესი მისი სხვა ნამუშევრების ნახვის. ჩვენთვის როგორც გალერეისთვის საინტერესოა ისეთი ახალგაზრდა არტისტების აღმოჩენა, რომელიც შეგვიძლია წარვადგინოთ საერთაშორისო და ლოკალურ მარკეტზე.
წარმოდგენილი ყველა ნამუშევარი შეიქმნა ამ გამოფენისთვის, რომელიც აერთიანებს 9 ფერწერულ ტილოს, ნახატებზე მნიშვენლოვანია ერთი კონტრასტული ან გრადაციული ფერი - მწვანე, რომელიც ყველა ნამუშევრის “ბაზაა” და თითქოს ამ ფერზე დგას კომპოზიცია.
“ხშირად შთაგონების წყაროა მოგზაურობა, ფოტოები რომელსაც მოგზაურობისას ვიღებ , შემდეგ მავიწყდება და თავიდან ვიხსენებ, როდესაც ვმუშაობ პროექტებზე იქნება ეს ფერწერა, თეატრი, თუ კოსტიუმი იმდენად მომართული ვარ საქმისკენ რომ ყველაფერი მოქმედებს შთაგონებაზე , პოპ მუსიკა მიყვარს და მუსიკამ შეიძლება დამანახოს ესა თუ ის სურათი, ქუჩაში გადაგდებული დაშლილი სათამაშოს პატარა ფერადი ნაწილიც კი ყოფილა ინსპირაცია, ასევე ახალი დიზაინი, მასალები, ფერი და ზედაპირები.”
ნამუშევრებზე ჩანს ავტორისეული დეტალური მახასიათებლების გადმოცემა, როგორიც არის ადამიანის ფიგურის ტანსაცმლის მატერიის გადმოცემა, ეს ალბათ ავთანდილის ირაციონალური გამოხატულებაა რომ შექმნას ერთგვარი ხასიათი.. იმ ტექნიკებით რასაც წლების მანძილზე სწავლობდა. “მე ვმუშაობ აკრიის თხელი ტექნიკით თუ ამას ასე ვუწოდებთ, ხშირად მაქვს წინასწარი ზუსტი ესკიზი , სადაც ჩემთვის ყველაფერი ნათელია, რამოდენიმე შრედ და ფენად ვხატავ ობიექტებს თუ ფიგურებს რომ მოძრაობის იმიტაცია შეიქმნას”
“ჩემი ნამუშევრების უმეტესობა ეხება ადგილებს,სადაც ვცხოვრობთ და ვმოქმედებთ, სივრცეები, რომელსაც აღმოვაჩენთ და თავს ბედნიერად ვიგრძნობთ, და ეხება ასევე ამ ადგილების დაკარგვის სევდას , გაქრობის შიშს, სივრცეებს სადაც ვიზრდებით, რომელსაც ყოველდღიურად ვაკვირდებით”
წარმოსახვითი სამყაროს შექმნა, თეატრის- ფურცელზე გადმოტანა, დახატვა იმ გარემოცვის სადაც, ფიგურები არიან მთავარი გმირები, და პატარა ყოფით ისტორიებს გვიამბობენ. თითქოს მომენტია დაჭერილი, და მოქმედება გაგრძელდება…
სიმშვიდე, რომელიც მოდის სურათის დანახვის თანავე, ან ის ერთგვაროვანი რელიეფი რომელიც სიბრტყეზეა შექმნილი რა ემოციას იწვევს მნახველისთვის?
ყველა ნამუშევრის სიუჟეტი ინდივიდუალურია მაგრამ გაგრძელებაა ერთი - მეორესი.
და რა საჭიროა ახსნა ამდენი როცა ნახატი თვითონ ყვება სიუჟეტს.

Avtandil Modebadze, born in 1991, is a stage and costume designer who works across various mediums including painting, costume and scenography
Our first collaboration with Avtandil took place at the Tbilisi Art Fair, where his unique approach sparked curiosity and captivated the public. As a gallery, we are thrilled to discover and showcase such emerging talent, both locally and internationally.
The exhibition features 9 new canvases created specifically for this event. A single contrasting or gradational colour—green—dominates the works, serving as the foundation of each composition. “Often the source of inspiration is travel, the images I take while traveling, then I forget and remember again when I work on projects, be it painting, theater, or costume. I am so concentrated on the work that everything impacts inspiration. I enjoy pop music, and music may conjure up images for me; even a small colorful piece of a broken toy thrown on the street has worked as inspiration, as it has new shapes, materials, colours, and surfaces."
In these paintings, the reproduction of finely detailed features, such as the texture of human garments, highlights Avtandil’s distinct style. His works bring an irrational expression to life, reflecting his years of study and experimentation in portraying characters. "I work with the thin acrylic technique if you call it that, I often have a preliminary precise sketch, where everything is clear to me, I draw objects or figures in several layers to create an imitation of movement"
"Most of my works are about the places we live and perform, the spaces we discover and feel happy, and also about the sadness of losing these places, the fear of disappearing, the spaces where we grow, which we observe daily".
Avtandil creates an imaginary world where the stage meets the canvas, and his figures, though small in presence, command the narrative. The viewer is invited to step into a captured moment—one that feels poised to continue beyond the frame.
There’s a certain tranquility that settles over the viewer when encountering his work, as the flat yet intricate terrains evoke a sense of calm. Each painting tells its own story, yet they are all interconnected, one leading into the next.
And perhaps, there’s no need for further explanation when the paintings speak for themselves…
