Soldering 102 – Dogwoods
Instructor: Francesca Faucette
Saturday, May 23 | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
The blooms may be gone, but let’s pay homage to our native beauty. The dogwood bloom symbolizes resilience, quiet strength, and beauty that endures, a perfect reflection of the work created in your hands! In this immersive metalsmithing workshop, learn to transform raw metal into delicate, sculptural dogwood blooms, capturing the fleeting beauty of nature in a permanent, wearable form. Students will create their own dogwood collection; a pendant, earrings, and, a ring, each infused with their personal touch and intention. We work in a small, intimate group, allowing space for focus, creativity, and connection. You’ll leave not only with an entire collection, but with techniques you can carry into future designs.

About the instructor
Francesca is a designer at heart and has been creating jewelry since early 1999. She is mostly self-taught, although she has taken workshops in almost all mediums. Francesca works intuitively, gathers inspiration and twists, turns, bashes, and burns it until she gets the desired outcome. Her work is bold, expressive, and filled with texture! Francesca has taught in the Carolinas, at national bead shows, and for almost 2 decades in the Nashville area as Francesca Lynn and has recently relocated back to the home of her heart, East Tennessee, where she started Studio Navarri.
