Capture the warmth of a coastal evening in this 2D
Needle Felted Painting workshop. Using wool as your "paint" and a barbed needle as your "brush," you will learn to layer and blend fibers to create a vibrant, textured landscape.
In this session, we will move beyond basic shapes to explore the "painterly" side of needle felting. Key skills include:
• Atmospheric Blending: Master the art of color transitions to create a dramatic, multi-hued sunset sky, sea and foreground.
• Structural Layering: Learn how to build a crisp, clean lighthouse silhouette with architectural details like the lantern room and glowing windows..
"Needle felting is a meditative, tactile process. There are no mistakes—only 'happy accidents' that can be tucked, pulled, or felted over until your vision comes to life." Each painting will be unique to you. No two will be alike.
No drawing or painting skills necessary.
All materials are provided for a 5 x 7 painting for you to frame as desired.
