Join artist and metalworker Jacky Oliver for this introduction to the technique of casting using pewter in a cuttlefish bone. This simple technique allows participants a great introduction to the potential of metalwork and casting.
You will draw directly into the cuttlefish bone to create a mould for the metal to be poured into. Your final piece can be taken home.
The session provides a suitable introduction for those with no metal casting experience. It could also give those with prior experience the opportunity to develop new ideas creatively.
