GreenThumb apprentices will co-lead a farm and compost tour featuring a hands-on learning component. At our site, participants will explore different backyard composting systems, learn how to create a nutrient-rich, compost-infused seed-starting mix, and gain practical skills for growing from seed.
The session will conclude with a take-home activity, where each participant prepares and plants their own seeded pot using the mix they’ve created—offering a simple, accessible way to continue the learning at home.
