About this Event

The basis of a good garden is its soil. In order to understand the growing medium of plants and maximize plant health and harvest yield, we must first understand the basics of soil components. In this class, we’ll learn about soil contamination, how to take and read soil assessments, and nutrients for your plants. We’ll discuss aspects of a healthy growing soil and how to build a robust growing medium. In collaboration with the Missouri Extension office, we’ll help you evaluate your soil health and discuss solutions.
