Softening into Spring – Community GatheringAs winter begins to loosen its grip, you’re warmly invited to a day of connection, creativity and gentle awakening.
Softening into Spring is a one-day community gathering bringing people together to rest, move, listen and celebrate the gradual return of light. Rooted in nature, rhythm and togetherness, the day weaves live music, yoga, dance and shared experience into a spacious and welcoming offering.
This is an invitation to slow down, soften the body, and gently re-emerge from the quieter months. You can expect nourishing practices, beautiful live music, moments of movement and stillness, and plenty of space to simply be, connect and enjoy.
No previous experience is needed. Come as you are, take part in what calls you, and rest when you need.
Offerings include:
– Gentle yoga and embodied movement
– Live music and sound
– Dance and creative expression
- Sound Bath
– Community connection and shared space
Facilitated by Jessica Christina Sawyer, Jade Heart, Jodie Melodie , this day is held with care, inclusivity and warmth.
There will be optional cacao to buy on the day along with a small café providing gluten-free and vegan options. and we want this space to feel and be as inclusive as possible, so all are welcome. Sorry no children this time <3
A relaxed, open and welcoming atmosphere for all.
More about this event:
Knowing what joy and authentic connection is created when the three of us gather in this long term friendship we wanted to open up the magic to the wider community -to share the gifts and the creativity that we find within this space.
Jodie, Jade and Jessica have each travelled extensively; learning from many traditions around the world and bringing their multifaceted gifts into community spaces and weaving circles has been something that they have all been dedicated to for over 30 years combined.
Softening into Spring is a gathering where together we can emerge like the snowdrops defrosting from the ground or the daffodils coming beginning to brighten the land. Yet at the same time many plants, flowers and animals are still hibernating and maybe this is how you wish to be and feel.
This space meets you where you are and allows you to truly acknowledge, accept and appreciate this.
On the day you can expect a welcoming space, time for connection, chats, drinking tea, yin with yoga Nidra, singing circle, gentle ceremony with space for planting your seeds for the next cycle, dancing and somatic movement to shake loose any heaviness from the winter and two separate music concerts.
We really want to cultivate this space for people to be together united sharing and blossoming as one.
