About this Event
Join us for a slow and spacious experience of trauma-informed nervous system support and opening of the joints through Somatic Yin Yoga.
Somatic practices help us feel safe coming into our bodies and into the present moment. You will learn through experience ways that you can aid in regulating your nervous system, allowing for a deeper connection with yourself and the world around you. This enables a more embodied flow through functional Yin Yoga, where we increase our range of motion by loosening fascia that can constrict and hold us in tightness.
This class is time for you to slow down and settle into stillness with therapeutic stretching while exploring more of your inner sensations and somatic experience.
Please note that modifications are always available and we listen to each individual's unique body for what is safe.
We will provide a yoga mat, blocks and a blanket - and you are also welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Space is limited to 6 attendees. These classes have been selling out with a waitlist, so if you register and no can no longer attend, please let me know.
Please reach out if you have any questions!
Note: Your registration and attendance implies consent to the terms outlined in this waiver, and you agree to be the mindful guardian of your own body. If you have concerns about these terms and still wish to attend, please contact Meagan at [email protected] beforehand. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to sharing space with you.
