The workshop will begin with a brief history of AI and automation in the service industry, followed by a presentation from Sofia PhD student Yujia Zhu, creator of FASSLING, an emotional and coaching support chatbot. Discover how this innovative tool provides comfort and guidance in moments of need.
Participants will then engage in a group activity to test and interact with FASSLING using pre-set prompts. Bring your laptop to dive into this practical experiment and explore the potential of AI in care-based industries.
The session will conclude with a talk from Dr. Samane Abdi of the Computer Science department, who will break down the process of building your own chatbot, including key insights, challenges, and the value it can bring to your entrepreneurial ventures.
