Progresszív metal felsőfokon – SOEN-koncert az A38 Hajón.A SOEN elementáris érzelmi erővel és zenei precizitással érkezik a színpadra, egyedi hangzásukban ötvözve a progresszív metalt és a post-rock atmoszférát mély dallamaikkal. A svéd banda idén megjelent Reliance című nagylemezzel tér vissza hozzánk, hogy ezúttal az A38 Hajón verjenek hullámokat augusztus 27-én.
A határokat feszegető debütáló albumuk, a Cognitive (2012) megjelenése óta az egykori Opeth-dobos Martin Lopez és énekes Joel Ekelöf a modern metal egyik legmeggyőzőbb produkcióját alkotta meg a SOEN-nel. A zenekar mindeddig hét stúdiólemezt adott ki, 2023-ban megjelent Memorial albumuk a Metal Hammer Germany listáján megnyerte Az év albuma díjat is, ezzel is jelezve, hogy a zenekarnak helye van a műfaj élvonalában. A SOEN koncertjei egyszerre súlyosak és hátborzongatóak, technikásak, mégis mélyen emberiek.
A csapat idén januárban adta ki legújabb nagylemezét Reliance címen, amely letisztult folytatása előző anyaguknak. A SOEN többször bizonyított már Magyarországon, de ha valakinek még be kellene őket mutatni, akkor különösen az Architects, Gojira, Disturbed, Tool, Opeth és Katatonia rajongóknak érdemes rájuk fülelni. Sodró dinamikára, nyers érzelmekre és valódi zenei katarzisra lehet számítani augusztus 27-én, az A38 Hajón.

SOEN arrive on stage with elemental emotional power and musical precision, blending progressive metal and post-rock atmosphere with deep, melodic sensibility into a sound that is entirely their own. The Swedish band return this year with their latest album Reliance, ready to make waves at A38 Ship on August 27.
Since the release of their boundary-pushing debut Cognitive (2012), former Opeth drummer Martin Lopez and vocalist Joel Ekelöf have built SOEN into one of the most compelling acts in modern metal. The band has released seven studio albums to date, and their 2023 record Memorial was awarded Album of the Year by Metal Hammer Germany, further confirming their place at the forefront of the genre. A SOEN live show is as heavy as it is haunting: technical, yet deeply human.
The band released their newest full-length album, Reliance, this January, offering a refined continuation of their previous work. SOEN have already proven themselves multiple times in Hungary, but for those still discovering them, fans of Architects, Gojira, Disturbed, Tool, Opeth, and Katatonia should pay close attention.
