That’s no moon… it’s the Globe! Doescher’s cult translation of Lucas’ iconic space opera has delighted fans for over a decade spawning a whole genre of bardic adaptations including the rest of the Skywalker saga, Mean Girls, Back to the Future and more.
We’re taking you back to the script that started it all with ‘Verily, A New Hope’, so pack thine sabre and merrily roll along to the Rondo Theatre for an evening of metered mirth! And what better day to do so than May the Fourth!
Expect an evening of hilarity, with all the best Episode Four quotes marvellously translated into iambic pentameter, with a few fun references to Shakespeare thrown in the mix as well!

All are welcome at our play readings where we read the play in full, script in hand, having turns with each character and breaking for tea, chats and snacks.
We'll be convening at the Rondo Theatre at 6:30pm, kicking off the reading shortly after. If you think you might be late - come anyway! These events are very relaxed and we'd love for you to join us.
There's no pressure to read if you don't want to but everyone will get the chance to regardless of age/ gender/ etc.
