About this Event
Social networking is now a necessary tool for any contemporary business. But knowing how to produce the right content for the right audience on the right platform presents a difficulty for entrepreneurs.
You will learn how to use the current social media platforms as an entrepreneur in this course. After completing this course, you will be able to: • Identify the social media channels that your target audience utilizes; and • Use these channels as a business by following industry best practices.
• Select a social media management tool for your company. • Produce “repurposed content” that draws social media users and directs them to your website.
For this training, a computer is not necessary, but it is suggested.
The six-module Digital Marketing series offered by the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) includes this course as the sixth and final lesson. Before enrolling in this course, we strongly advise you to finish the five previous modules: "Developing a Marketing Strategy," "Creating Content Your Customers Value," "Building Your Own Business Website," "Search Engine Optimization (SEO)," and "Email Marketing."
