Annual General Meeting We need to establish a set of rules that provide everyone involved in soccer through our teams, and the association the ability to participate and to understand how to participate. The AGM will look to establish a set of rules for parent run soccer at the school, the rules will also establish the roles for the association.
We are asking all parents to consider and take part, to nominate for positions on the committee. We welcome and will organise for competitive elections to the association committee. Volunteers required for:
Treasurer - someone who can manage the finances and provide an end of year report. This would include being part of regular communication to discuss and coordinate payments.
Chair - someone who can coordinate the activity of the association.
Then there are areas of work that we need committee members to take-on. Including:
- Delegate to Football Tasmania and the central region body, also leading on the registration of all players
- Coach coordinator - working with the teams coaches to organise the teams and ongoing development
- Fundraising and events to help organise events, like the annual quiz, pre and post season fun days
- Merchandise, sponsors and donations coordinator
- School liaison, someone who can be the point contact and person talking with the school (ideally someone who participates in the school parent association)
