So: Poetry Workshop & Open Mic for LGBTQ+ Voices
Join us for So, a welcoming space for the LGBTQ+ community to explore their creative voice and share their writing. This event features a free poetry workshop designed for writers of all experience levels. No one is pressured to share their work during the workshop, so feel free to participate at your own comfort level.
After the workshop, we’ll host an Open Mic for those who want to perform. Whether you're a seasoned poet or just beginning, this is your chance to express yourself. The open mic is pay what you can. We welcome other forms of spoken word including prose, monologues and storytelling.
How to take part in the open mic
Please arrive 10 minutes before the start and you will be put on the set list.

- Only LGBTQ+ people are invited to perform, unless you are reading on behalf of someone else.
- The workshop is free, and the open mic is pay what you can.
