If you’ve ever wanted to understand what thermal imaging can really show you, this is a good chance to dive in. We’re running a free, hands-on workshop in Oxford on 7 January with thermographer Paul Buckingham, who has years of experience helping people spot where their homes are losing heat. It’s a practical session, so you’ll get to try the camera, learn what the colours actually mean, and see how to run a simple community project that helps neighbours understand their homes better.
We’ll also look at air tightness testing, funding options for energy-saving measures, and how groups across Oxfordshire are using thermal imaging to spark real change locally.
And if you’d like to join a local thermal-imaging project afterwards, your nearest Low Carbon Hub community group can help you get involved. See: https://www.lowcarbonhub.org/community-members/
