Snowsport Scotland FIS Judges Clinic. This clinic is a 2-day workshop, that enables you to qualify as a C-license Snowboard or Freeski judge, and gain the credentials to judge at National and lower-level international events.The course will take you through a variety of topics:
Judging Criteria
Judging Processes and Workflows
Contest Formats
Discipline-specific theory and exercises (Slopestyle, Big Air, Rail Events, Halfpipe)
Whilst some of the course will be presentation-led, the goal is to make these style of clinics very discussion-based and practical. Expect a lot of video-exercises that simulate the competition environment and prepare you for your first competition.

Learn to communicate and justify your opinion
Progress your journey as a qualified Freeski or Snowboard judge
No prior qualification is needed; however, a good understanding of the Snowboard and Freeski Park & Pipe sports and the ability to identify tricks at a basic to intermediate level will be helpful.
Following the qualification, there will be opportunities to gain experience in real competitions through the Scottish Park Series, with the support of experienced judges.
