The mural is part of the City’s 2025 public art initiative and was funded through a $10,000 grant awarded to Prusmack. With more than 16 years of experience, his work focuses on creating vibrant, community-driven art that reflects Galveston’s coastal environment and culture.
The new piece is designed to celebrate the island’s natural beauty while sparking conversation around coastal preservation and environmental responsibility.
“I am dedicated to producing a mural that embodies the essence and identity of Galveston, while also supporting the city’s ongoing initiatives in cultural and environmental education,” said Prusmack.
Come by, meet the artist, and see the space before it fills up for the season.
