Join Slow Food DC on Wednesday, May 8, at Little Penn to honor and celebrate our newest Snail of Approval winners! Thanks to your nominations, we're recognizing 6 restaurants, retailers, producers, farmers, and vineyards for their commitment to good, clean, and fair food in our region.
Come out to enjoy seasonal dishes from Eco Caters while you mix and mingle with movers and shakers in the food community. (Gluten free and vegetarian options will be available.) Every ticket also includes 1 drink from the bar (beer, rail drink, or mocktail).
There will also be a silent auction featuring confections, beverages, cookbooks, experiences, and other food-related items from Snail-winners and other local businesses.
All proceeds go towards sustaining Slow Food DC, a volunteer-led, educational non-profit dedicated to building a better food system for all. (Click here to learn more about the work we do with local farmers, food and beverage businesses, schools, and food-vulnerable communities.)
Ticket prices will increase on April 17, so be sure to RSVP today to get the Early Bird rate!
