About this Event

🌹 Smith a Copper Rose — A Rose That Lasts Forever

Join us for a hands-on metalsmithing workshop where you’ll create a beautiful copper rose from start to finish—a timeless gift for a loved one or a meaningful keepsake for yourself.

This beginner-friendly class introduces the fundamentals of metalworking in a relaxed, creative environment. Guided by an experienced instructor, you’ll learn to shape, texture, and finish metal while crafting a rose that will never wilt.

In this workshop, you’ll:

  • Cut and shape flower petals using shears and snips
  • Add unique texture with hammers and forming tools
  • Twist multiple wires together to create a sturdy stem
  • Leave with a handcrafted copper rose to treasure or gift

No prior experience is necessary—just bring your creativity.

All tools and materials are provided.

Please bring work gloves or garden gloves if you have them.

Please wear natural fibers, close-toed shoes, full length pants, and have any long hair pulled back. If you would like to bring your own safety glasses you may; otherwise, we will have extras here.

*Age 16+ (under 18 MUST be accompanied by a guardian)
