Smile Like Aubrey will be hosting the third Smile Like Aubrey Walk & Family Festival to bring support and awareness to prevent childhood drowning. Smile Like Aubrey seeks to raise awareness for drowning prevention and self-rescue swim skills, provide self-rescue swim scholarships to prevent childhood drowning, and provide financial assistance and support to families who have suffered a personal tragedy. Through strong collaborative partnerships, we can help save lives and provide support for families impacted by personal tragedy.
The Smile Like Aubrey Walk & Family Festival will take place at Perry Harvey, Sr. Park in downtown Tampa at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
Smile Like Aubrey is named after Aubrey Strojnowski. Four years ago, Kristen and Matt Strojnowski lost Aubrey in a drowning accident at the age of 16 months. This is one of the most devastating tragedies any mother, father, sibling, or family should ever endure. Smile Like Aubrey continues to honor Aubrey with a 1-mile walk followed by a family festival. The Smile Like Aubrey Walk & Family Festival will be a public event with entertainment, games, and food trucks. Each participant will receive a Smile Like Aubrey t-shirt.
