About this Event
While formal education can be necessary to learn certain skills, sometimes learning from each other is the most helpful form of support! Please join us in a connective conversation facilitated by Charlie Warner of Human|Work about how to start, run, and succeed with our ventures.
We invite entrepreneurs from all industries, experience levels, and backgrounds to join this roundtable discussion. We will share our journeys, triumphs, and challenges and you'll walk away with invaluable insights, practical tips, and lessons learned firsthand from fellow entrepreneurs. Whether you're just starting out or looking to scale your business, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and grow together.
About the Utah Microloan Fund:
Our mission is to empower underserved communities throughout Utah by providing business training and funding to entrepreneurs in start-up & existing businesses that do not qualify for traditional funding sources. How are we different from other financial institutions? The UMLF helps people who:
- Are just starting out and don’t have an operating history
- Don’t have enough collateral for a conventional loan
- Have had life events that have had a negative impact on credit scores
We are designed to support business owners by offering small business microloans. Our application and loan process is simple and can provide funds for equipment, inventory, or working capital.
