There's no better time to enjoy a couple of beers and some sludge than on a Sunday afternoon before the drag of the week begins. So, Road To Masochist are proud to present SLUDGE SUNDAYS! These shows will be matinée performances (4.30pm - 8.30pm) which will give you plenty of time to get a take out, get home and still have time to unwind before Monday morning comes around...The first edition features a seismic line up: GRANDAD, CATTLE HAMMER and BILE CASTER! London's Grandad excel in a deluge of blackened, roaring hardcore, blackened sludge and filthy riffs. Their latest release 'Gerontophile' sees them incorporate some melodic death influenced passages, and they will no doubt bring every last sinew of noise to The Gryphon. Cattle Hammer are a collosal beast that features members of seminal bands Mistress and Fukpig, as they bring a gaping cavern of doom/sludge nastiness to proceedings. 2025 has seen them throw out a temporary, miserable journey entitled 'Methlehem'. Expect savagery. Bile Caster have been ripping concrete across the UK in recent months with their brand of horrifically hefty slow sludge. Akin to Primitive Man and Torpor, they released their first album'Writhing Between Birth and Death' in 2024 (Road To Masochist) and make a return to Bristol for the first edition of SLUDGE SUNDAY!08/06/2025 - The Gryphon, Bristol
