Slayyy Diva Embroidery Workshop
Join us for a fabulous afternoon of embroidery at the Acava Maxilla Walk Studios! Let your inner diva shine as you learn the art of embroidery with a stylish twist.
As part of the ongoing exhibition on site, Post Traumatic Slay Disorder, Coco Warner-Allen, a textile and multimedia artist from London will guide you through multiple embroidery stitches, from beginner to more complex, as well as sequining and beading. The stitches and techniques taught will be reflective of her pieces in the exhibition.
Everything is provided and for you to take home at the end. We will be using vintage toile fabric for you to put your own creative spin on.
The event will last 2 and a half hours, with two hours of teaching and a break with refreshments provided halfway through.
