In 2022, Skyway Man (Oakland, CA-based songwriter & producer James Wallace) joined up with Richmond, VA’s Andy Jenkins for a collaborative EP, titled Nothing No. 1, released on Mama Bird Recording Co. In the summer of 2026, James & Andy begin work on a follow up, recording at a home studio in Westport.
Wallace spent a decade on the fringes of Nashville before finding home in California. He has released three LPs under the Skyway Man banner, psychedelic space journeys grounded in American rock and blues traditions. He co-scored a season of Joe Pera’s TV show and performed at the Wilco-curated Solid Sounds festival. As a performer and producer, he brings a surety and sincerity to unlikely situations.

Jenkins has released two solo LPs, the first produced by Spacebomb’s Matthew E. White and the second by Sylvan Esso’s Nick Sanborn. His gem-like and slightly askew songs provide a rewarding experience to anyone who stumbles across them.
