'This new underground jazz speakeasy is the epitome of cool' TIMEOUT
Daddy Rabbit is a uniquely immersive live music event at New York City's coolest speakeasy. Pulling together classically trained pianists, bassists and horn players with jazz singers, MCs and beatboxers, this is an ever-changing carousel of world-class sound. The show mixes original compositions with unique interpretations of Soul, Jazz, Rock, Funk and RnB classics.
On Thursday April 2nd Sketchy Black Dog - a string quartet with piano trio - makes its debut performance at the Daddy Rabbit. Pianist Misha Piatigorsky and drummer Chris Wabich started Sketchy Black Dog in 2010 and toured the world with this concept for 5 years. Now they are reuniting and brining the band back together. Not to be missed.
An intimate setting in the round, it's a show where you can literally stand with the band.
It’s going to be a stunning session and it’s selling really fast so book now to avoid wistful pangs of despair.
