Hi I'm Jenny, I write, illustrate and make videos sharing my art journey on youtube (spottedjournal). I'm a foodie who loves to explore and always up for a deep and meaningful conversation. I believe it's never too late to build a life we love.
Being a creative can get lonely and I nonticed a lot of us feel similar. That's why I created Sketch & Cafe, a space where sketchers hang out, draw without judgement & chat over cake & cuppas. You can find out more about me here and watch how I built Sketch & Cafe in this video.

EVENT FEEDBACK:
“As a first timer in these events, I was treated with the most respect and given a warm welcome like I had been attending daily. A perfect pace and swaps to meet everone at least once which is great. The environment is filled with positivity and authenticity amongst the creatives that were there. My goal was to meet and enjoy the company of other artists/creatives and it was successful in every way. This has boosted my love for all things creatives & especally doodling on a notepad like when I was younger”- IG: @Wu.Creative
“I was nervous going to my first sketch and cafe session, but I really didn't need to be as everyone was so lovely and helpful and encouraging. It was so inspiring seeing the range of work everyone was producing and it felt so relaxed too. I was made to feel very welcome and had such a great time. My only criticism is that it went too fast. Can't wait to go again!”- IG: @Tania_Lawrence_Art
“This is genuinely one of the warmest spaces I’ve found in Manchester. Pure good relaxed energy. Jenny has really curated the events for people to both casually socialize and also explore more inventive ways to sketch. It’s truly a no judgment zone and I love it. That and the cute cafés- it’s perfect!” - IG: @SelfAllyTherapy
