About this Event
In this workshop, you will make a locally and sustainably harvested willow bark bracelet made to fit YOU.
Willow is an incredible plant offering medicine in its bark (used by humans for more than 3500 years!), habitat for birds in its swaying branches, stability for river and stream banks with its dense roots and so much more.
Willow bark can only be harvested for a few months in the spring and early summer but if dried and stored properly, it can last for years. For weaving, it is used to make baskets, hats, jewelry, art, and more.
Class fee includes supplies for one bracelet; additional supplies are available for purchase.
