Hello SJF dancers! We are very excited to announce our next event on May 31st! You heard us right, it will be on the FIFTH Sunday of this month and NOT on May 24th.
For those of you who do not know May 24th will be Fanime (along with Memorial Day weekend) and your hosts would like to spend that weekend attending Fanime along with other personal plans.
Inspired by our friends in the cosplay community we also wanted to extend the excitement and bring Cosplay to Fusion dancing so on May 31st we will be doing our first ever Cosplay Fusion Night!
Come dressed as your favorite character! Be it anime inspired or comics inspired or whichever other media you want to showcase as. Please wear cosplay you can dance comfortably in and be mindful of excessive accessories, wings, armor, etc. No weapons. Cosplay and costumes are encouraged but not required!
We will also be featuring return instructors Joel and Alison Gibson with a WCS dance lesson. Stay tuned for lesson details and more information about our Cosplay event!
5pm-6pm - WCS lesson with Joel & Alison Gibson
6pm-7pm - DJ Joel
7pm-8pm - DJ Savannah Morse
8pm-9pm - DJ NiNI
9pm-10pm - DJ Marcy
Cost of entry: sliding scale $15-$20. Please reach out to us if you are interested in some financial support to attend the events!
