Latinas in Pursuit invites you to a community-centered event focused on supporting Latina students in their transition to college. While our project highlights the experiences of first-generation Latinas, this space is open to all Latinas seeking guidance, connection, and community.
🎓 Workshop & Panel (12:00–3:00 PM)
Hear from Latina college students and professionals as they share real experiences, advice, and insights on navigating the journey from high school to college. This interactive space is designed to uplift, inform, and empower attendees through conversation and shared knowledge.
💬 About Our Project
We are creating a peer-to-peer roadmap to help guide Latina students, especially those who are first-generation, through the college transition process. This includes support with applications, financial aid, scholarships, and navigating cultural challenges. Through this event, we aim to share our mission, gather community input, and build a strong, supportive network.
🛍️ Community Pop-Up (3:00–5:00 PM)
Stay after the main event to support Latina-owned small businesses, connect with local vendors, and continue building community.
