About this Event
SISTER ACT
Experience the "feel-good" musical comedy Sister Act, It is the heart-warming and comic story of disco-diva-turned-nun Deloris Van Cartier who discovers the power of sisterhood when she is forced to hide in a convent to stay safe from her gangster boyfriend and his thugs. At first, very much a “ fish out of water” story, this musical combines high-energy gospel music with outrageous comedy for a performance that will leave you wanting to REJOICE!
"Delightfylly spunky" with "timeless appeal" (Variety), Sister Act as seen in the 1992 film and featured in the broadway Musical, Sister Act by Bill and Cheri Steinkellner and an original score by Alan Menken. This dynamic story puts a fresh new spin on a "polished, peppy, modern film" (The Washington Post).
