Join us on 21 May 13:30–15:30, for an inspiring afternoon of connection, collaboration and new research possibilities!
This informal session is a chance to meet colleagues from across the University, spark new cross-disciplinary conversations, and explore exciting funding opportunities from both the and the .We’ll be joined by Dr Andrew Wooff, the Director of SIPR, and Monica Craig, SIPR’s Head of Operations, who will walk us through the range of funding streams available to University of West of Scotland researchers. After a short overview, the floor will open for colleagues to share their research interests, discover synergies, and identify potential collaborations.
Why come along?
- To boost awareness and engagement with SIPR across UWS—including colleagues who might not see their research as directly policing-related but which has potential to impact on policing (e.g. business, management, organisational development, technology, psychology, social sciences, computing, engineering and beyond).
- To help build stronger internal research networks so we’re collectively better positioned for upcoming funding calls from SIPR, S-PACE and other funders.
- To link colleagues in to the various SIPR and S-PACE themes and networks.
- To meet new people, exchange ideas, and shape future interdisciplinary partnerships.
All colleagues are warmly welcome. We’d love to see you there and hear what you’re working on. Please feel free to share this invitation with other colleagues who may be interested. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to get in touch.
