About this Event
This instructor-led, 2-hour class is perfect for beginners and anyone looking to try a new cozy craft this season. We’ll start by exploring how crochet connects to farming, sustainability, and the mission of Gorman Heritage Farm—then dive right into the basics.
You’ll learn several beginner stitches and finish the session by creating your very own granny square to take home. All materials will be provided, including warm tea to enjoy as you craft and chat with others.
Each participant will take home both a small crochet starter kit and a take-home packet with a brief history of crochet, its benefits, how it connects to the farm, simple stitch instructions with visuals, and the pattern used in class so you can continue creating at home.
Join us this winter to learn something new, enjoy good company, and help build a welcoming crafting community!
This class is not suitable for children under 13 and requires confidence with fine motor skills and simple knots.
