HOSTED BY JOSY presents the first volume of an evolving series — part art exhibition, part guided painting workshop, part the kind of room where strangers leave as something more.
Vol. 01 marks the public launch of Hosted by Josy after years of running these nights privately. Manchester gets it first.
The night unfolds in two halves.
THE EXHIBITION
Four original pieces by Josy — including the landscape work featured in this listing — displayed across the room. Each piece carries its own world. Walk through them with a drink in hand before the workshop begins.
THE WORKSHOP
Guided sip-and-paint led by Josy himself. Every guest leaves with their own canvas — your interpretation of the night, your palette, your hand. No pressure to produce a "good" painting. The point is to make something while the room does its thing around you.
WHAT YOU'LL LEAVE WITH
— Your finished canvas
— Photos from the night (a videographer will be present)
— A sketch of the city you didn't know you needed
— Whoever you came in with, plus a few people you didn't
This isn't a class. It isn't a gallery opening. It's the room in between.
A NOTE ON ENTRY
Hosted by Josy nights are curated. We reserve the right to review every booking and refuse entry where the information provided doesn't match the person attending, this includes mismatched names, suspected duplicate bookings, or anything that signals a booking made in bad faith. Refused applications receive a full refund within 48 hours.
This isn't gatekeeping for the sake of it. It's how we keep the room intentional.
