Sip and Write with CHESTNUTS

We'll explore how everyday thoughts — in any language — can become the seed of a play.

Through free-writing exercises and conversation, we'll look at how language shapes the way we listen, remember, and tell stories.

All ticket income supports Chestnuts, Yuner Chen's upcoming bilingual theatre project in the upcoming year：It is a play touches the cultural clashes in the memory of history and the delusional feelings in the globalised mega cities, while we don't sense the belongingness anywhere.

Hosted at Nekter Deli in Shoreditch — an independent deli and natural wine supplier — the session includes a guided tasting of selected wines, 3/4 wines based on the theme of "Autumn" and the concept of our project.

• Wine tasting of 3/4 (one red, one white, secrets)
• Snack plate (two ticket tiers available:- Appetiser Plates of Spicy Masala Mix/ Gilda de Anchoa/ Bread and Spread or a small plate of Cheese plate/ smoked fish plate/ Charcuterie plate)
• Writing session and discussion led by Yuner Chen
• Sharing of the coming play if interested. All proceeds contribute directly to the production of "Chestnuts"
