Join us on Zoom to hear about Martin Sutcliffe's "Single Handed Ocean Passage"
(There will be no in person event at CA House)
Having bought his boat in Marmaris and sailed much of the Mediterranean The time came for Martin to put himself to the test. "Was I a real sailor?" . To answer this question which many of us have asked ourselves, he embarked on a cruise from Portugal to Madeira and then single-handed to the Azores and back to the Atlantic coast of Portugal. Martin will talk about his experience of single-handed sailing and the psychological pressures of setting off alone across an ocean.
This talk is being broadcast via Zoom, and is open to all, free for members including Crewing members, £5 for non-members.
Please note: lectures can be watched live online but we do not generally make recordings available after the event, for a number of reasons relating to time and copyright issues.
