Back for another year of matchmaking, Pears Dating is hosting a singles night with a difference. Expect to crush, flirt and be entertained with an evening of speed dates and live performances. All soundtracked by delicious DJs and hosted by queen cupid herself. The Cinema at Selfridges is the only place to be if you’re single this Valentine’s Day.
Pears is an inclusive dating brand, curating events for those tired of swiping on the apps and instead craving in-person connection. This February, at a time when the world is focusing on couples, Pears turns its attention to the city’s singles.

What to expect:
We welcome 150 Londoners for an evening where everyone is single, taking over the Selfridges cinema and cocktail bar. Expect mingling, ice-breakers, live performances, and quick-fire speed-dating. There will be drinks, snacks and a DJ to soundtrack the night.
How it works:
• Throughout the whole night you will be meeting everyone, with one-on-one dates with some of the pears you have selected in your ticket choice, ensuring a chance to talk to as many people as possible.
• We will also invite you to have your portrait taken to contribute to a gallery of London’s singles, which will be shared on the @pears_dating Instagram over the upcoming days.
• Tickets are £30 and include an exclusive pear cocktail, and a snack (vegan options available).
Tickets:
We love and welcome anyone of all genders and sexualities, however, when it comes to ticketing, we are restricted to the following ticket groups:
- QUEER Male / Non Binary
- QUEER Female / Non Binary
- STRAIGHT Male / Non Binary
- STRAIGHT Female / Non Binary
Whilst you might find yourself identifying across more of these groups, or none of these groups, due to the nature of this event, we ask you to please choose a ticket you identify with more on the night if you are interested in attending.
There will be opportunities to mingle with everyone at multiple stages of the night.

• Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds, but if you have a ticket and are no longer able to attend at any point (even up to the last minute), please do let us know by messaging us on Instagram or dropping us an email at [email protected] so we can update the guest list.

Please let a member of the Pears team know on the night if you do not want to appear in these and we will do our best to avoid capturing you in any content.
