Sing for Wellbeing! (On campus)

This informal and fun workshop will provide staff with an opportunity to sing as a group to familiar and popular tunes, while learning about vocal techniques, singing to improve health and wellbeing and help to bust stress. No experience necessary - you do not need to sing like Beyoncé or consider yourself a singer, this is a community workshop. F or all abilities, including beginners. If you want to have some fun then take time out to sing with colleagues, to focus on your breathing and try something different.

The workshop will contain the following:

● The opportunity for staff to feel the mental and physical health benefits of singing.

● Sing as a group and learn lyrics with a professional singer and choir facilitator..

● Stress buster - have fun!

● Learn about how singing positively effects your breathing, lungs and mood.

● Learn some vocal pointers.

Whether booking as an individual or as a team - the workshop is a perfect slice of fun!

This event is part of Staff Development Fortnight 2024 - this event is open to all PSD and academics!
