Dance under the stars at the Nature and Star Hub, Sutton Bank National Park Centre.Join electronic dance poets The Long Dead Stars as they premiere their latest work, Dark Core, a developing album inspired by dark skies, outer space and the Dark Core Zone of the North York Moors National Park. This live performance will take place outdoors within the grounds of the Nature and Star Hub, where audience members can stargaze while listening to and experiencing the performance as a silent disco, dancing into the night.
The Long Dead Stars are a fusion of poetry and dance music about rocks and stars, engaging the Yorkshire community and beyond through a blend of science, walking and art.
Wrap up warm and come prepared to spend an hour outside, with the hope of enjoying spectacular views of the night sky with the naked eye. If the weather is poor, such as heavy rain, the event will take place inside the Nature Hub.
The event starts at 7.15pm. Please arrive by 7.00pm. The event lasts approximately one hour.
This event is free. Please only book if you intend to attend, as places are limited. If you need to cancel, please do so via Eventbrite so others can book a ticket in good time. Thank you.
Suitable for ages 12 and over when accompanied by an adult.
